In the Sukkah You Should Sweat For Seven Days

In case you couldn't tell from the title of the post, I was in Netanya (by the sea) for the first day. Yeah. You read that correctly. The first DAY. Not DAYS. Because that's how the real Jews do it.
Okay I'm done, but that was fun.
I stayed with my cousins Miriam and Nissan and met their son Yishai and his wife Moriah and their kids, Y'ela, Itamar, Shiloh, Arava, and Achiya. Their sukkah is on the roof of their house, which is pretty awesome. They have fridge and sink and hotplate up there and everything so once we went up to the roof, we didn't have to run back down to the house every five minutes.
I went back to Yerushalayim after eating a quick Chol HaMoed dinner (because there was only one day of Yom Tov, you see) and it rained a little bit so I decided to sleep at Beit Canada. It's much colder in the Holy City than it is in Netyanya. Think sweatpants in the Sukkah.
The first day of CHM I watched the Jerusalem Parade (a bunch of people from countries around the world marching from Gan Sacher all the way down King George screaming that they love Israel) and then went to the Old City and heard Hakhel, the source for which can be found here.
I love hyperlinks.
Today I wandered around town taking pictures of the different Sukkot all over the place. Tomorrow I'm going to Fookie and Dena's (Rishon L'Tzion) for Shabbat Chol HaMoed and then I will be in Talbieh/Baka for Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah. Football friend's house for dinner, still not 100% sure about lunch.
And then, after Isru Chag, I'm back to Ulpan in the morning and Nishmat in the afternoon. On the 30th I have an appointment with my rheumatologist to discuss all those blood tests I had to get. And then I can go down south (to Be'er Sheva) and talk to the army about when I can start work. Still haven't found an apartment.
In other news, I am really angry at the iTunes store. They have new terms and conditions that you can't use the store outside of the US. I went and got a US credit card and everything and they won't let me buy music? Do they WANT me to steal it? Ridiculous. I'm thinking of protesting. Anybody with me?
